Au bout de Benjamin Franklin Parkway, juste avant l'hôtel de ville, se situe le Love Park et sa célèbre sculpture "LOVE" de Robert Indiana. Datant de 1978, elle est l'un des symboles de la cité et fait référence au nom de la ville (Philadelphie viendrait du grec et signifierait "amour fraternel"). Une réplique de cette œuvre se trouve aussi sur le campus de l'université de Pennsylvanie ainsi que dans une rue de New York.
